Purpose of this Blog

The folks at the University of Idaho asked me to set up a blog to link to the Master Gardener columns that I write for the Idaho Statesman's weekly Online Gardening Newsletter. Unfortunately, any columns over one year old are no longer available through the Statesman's website. However, I have all the columns saved and can send out a column if anyone is interested in a back column. I'll list column titles that I've done in the past.

I may also blog about my own garden - what I'm growing and the wildlife I observe. I might blog about gardens I see around town and on road trips.

Stay tuned.
